Keep in mind that I will have you fill out the Checklist , a form requesting specific information regarding your business first so that I can create the best possible website to reach customers.
I cannot stress enough how important it is that you look at my personal websites and see all the features, links, color coding, page titles, company name repeat, footer and email information that is setup for ease of navigation. My websites are my portfolio.
- I will setup your website with the best available Citymax design that best suits your business.
- I will setup your Menu and color code your pages to best suit your taste and the message you want customers to receive.
- I will setup your Footer on every page (or only the pages you want your Footer to appear). Your contact information: email address and/or phone number where people can contact you is great placed in the footer on each page as well as in the body of a Contact Page. Your email will be a Link so when people hover over it they know they can click and send you an email. Your email address itself can be hidden. See how at the bottom of this page, my Email address is hidden? It's nice and clean.
- I will setup your Header where typically you want your company name to be reinforced no matter what page someone is viewing.
- I will setup your shipping calculator.
- I will setup up to a total of ten (10) pages for this fee. Typically, you need:
A Home Page
A Contact Page
An About Page
This allows you seven (7) additional pages which can include your Catalog pages (catalog pages are where you offer your products for sale), Guest Book, whatever you want.
Must Haves - $50 or You Can Do This Yourself
I charge $50 to assist you in making this a simple matter to perform the following Must Haves. You can also do this yourself.
Domain Name: I will help you select the best possible domain name and do a search for you to see if it is available. I will then help you secure that domain name. You will pay all fees related to the domain name. You can obtain a domain name for approximately $10 per year. I am not affiliated with any domain name registrars. If you have a preference, than that is who we can use.
Paypal Account: I will help you setup your Paypal account by getting you the link to enter your personal information which I should not and do not want to know. Paypal charges a small percent of each purchase amount. I find that Paypal is very convenient and user friendly. I am not affiliate with Paypal.
Email: I will help you select and secure the best possible email address that makes sense for your business.
Hourly Rate - $35
I try to keep my hourly rate very reasonable and I bill in increments of 1/4 hour. Some clients want me to add and do special links, graphics, etc. from time to time or general maintenance.
Internet Marketing
This is very important if you want to get into the search engines and have your website rank on the first couple of pages based on specific keywords. I can make recommendations or you can do your own internet search and hire whomever you want to assist you.
My Requirements
I will review your Checklist and once we are in agreement that you want me to create your merchant website, I will send you a Paypal invoice for $150 to get started. I do not start work until you approve and pay the Paypal invoice. The balance of $149 will be due upon completion of the tasks we've agreed to.
Should you wish me to perform additional tasks, they will be at my hourly rate of $35 and I will send you a Paypal invoice for $70 (two hours worth of work) as a retainer. I do not start this additional work until you approve and pay the Paypal invoice. I will apply my additional work invoices against this retainer and either request additional funds (if the work in question exceeds two hours) or refund the difference at your request or hold the difference if you think you will have me do additional work in the very near future. It's up to you!
