I can't stress to you how important it is to have your own domain name. Your domain name should make sense.
Dot COM is preferable.
I now use Yahoo Domains to purchase my Domain Names, but you can use anyone - do a search and check pricing!
I personally own the following three domain names:
- ThatGirlVintageBoutique.com
- VintageFancy.com
- CreateAWebsiteForYourBusiness.com
- Have a dedicated email address for your website for both a Merchant Website and a Presence Website.
This should cost you nothing!
Your current internet provider allows you to have several email addresses for free.
Create an email address that makes sense - email addresses are limited to amount of characters!
